Veterans Park Fundraiser Event 11/10/22

State Represetative Tim Whelan, USMC spoke of his experiences as a Lance Corporal, his appreciation for military service, the importance of Park monuments, and expressed gratitude for veterans and their families. 

Andrew Foss, US Army Captain and VP Commercial Lending at Cape Cod 5, shared his experiences as a soldier in Iraq , and described the indelible affect of his military service on both his professional and personal lives.

As is customary at Marine birthay celebrations, the eldest  Marine cuts the first piece of cake to serve to the youngest Marine attending.  Here the elder Howard Kucks celebrates with Michael Nocella, the youngest Marine and Board Member of Veterans Memorial Park, Inc.  The delicious cake was generously donated by Hole-in-One of Orleans and Eastham and enjoyed by all!

A tribute to those who serve(d) from WWI (featured above right) to the present day (above left).  There are currently 349 Orleans veterans identified on the memorials from the Civil War through World War II.  Please see our plan to replace, relocate, and add memorials. The ability for naming opportunities in the Park to honor any Veteran will also be provided.
