Abbey Gate: 13 US service members killed outside Kabul's airport incribed on the Bricks

In 2001, 13 United States service members were killed during an attack executed by the Islamic State terror group. Islamic State Khorasan, known as ISIS-K, claimed responsibility for the "martyrdom attack," which took place outside Kabul’s airport, where Americans in addition to allies were being evacuated from Afghanistan. At least 18 service members were injured.

We Are Supporting All Massachusetts Fallen Heroes with Inscribed Bricks

Veterans Memorial Park at Academy Place Inc. (a 501c3) will be supporting the Massachusetts Fallen Heroes mission to Honor the memories of the Fallen, Support Gold Star Families, Empower our Veterans and Educate our communities. Through generous donations we will be placing an 8x4 inch inscribed brick in the park for each of the current 332 Massachusetts Fallen Heroes.

The newly renovated historic Veterans Memorial Park will continue to serve as a public space for reflection and remembrances of those who served. It will now add those names from Massachusetts who gave their lives fighting in the Global War on Terrorism since September 11th, 2001. The current list is below from the Mass Fallen Heroes memorial in Boston.
